Yesterday I read articles that teenager should limit calls to less than ten minutes and children under eight should only use a cell phone in emergencies. Also people who used cell phones for long time is risk of brain tumors.

In Toronto’s department of public health has advised teenagers and young children to limit their use of cell phones, to avoid potential health risks. The advisory is the first of its kind in Canada. Officials have warned that because of possible side effects from radio frequency radiation.

For many years, most government health agencies were dismissive of any risk. But with more studies, a pattern is emerging that suggests people who have used their cell phones for a long period of time are at greater risk of certain kinds of brain tumors. I would rather encourage my kids to use the landlines rather than the cell phone after reading that article. It is something that I came across only today and that got me thinking how much do we as parents notice about children who used cell phones? - Maybe you are as a parent thinking again allowing your teen to have a cell phone. You may still not be sure if they are ready to handle the responsible of having a phone also potential health risks.

- Or, you can try let them buy the phone and consider making them pay for the phone it’s self. But, parents still watching them used cell phones also give punishment if they are used it without responsible. Offer the phone as a reward if bad grades or behavior are prohibiting you from buying your teen a cell phone, And reward for good behavior.
